As of 18.10.2026.
The data controller is the author of the SPRK game (dyzurnyruchu.pl), a private person.
For data matters, use the “Report a bug or idea” form in the game settings (type “other”). You can also write directly to contact@dyzurnyruchu.pl.
Without an account, the game keeps settings, best grades, missions, shift history, career, achievements and the save of an interrupted shift only in this browser’s storage (localStorage). It does not send them to any server. You delete them by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
When you create an account, we store your e-mail address and a hash of your password (we never know the password itself), and then your progress: best grades, missions, shift history, career and achievements – and your game settings (without the device’s screen sizes). Signing in uses the session cookie sprk_sid (HttpOnly, up to 180 days). The account does not work without it, so it needs no consent.
Account data is kept in a database on a server in the European Union. The legal basis is a contract – running the account you ask for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The “Delete account” button in the account window deletes the account, the address and the progress at once; they disappear from the database backups within 7 days at the latest. We send the password reset link through an e-mail delivery service – only when you ask, and only to the account address.
From the shift history on your account the server also keeps shift results separately – station, grade, number of trains and date, without the e-mail address – to show you how you compare with other players, how many people play and which stations are most popular. Other players see only aggregate numbers. The results are deleted together with the account.
With your consent the site loads Google Analytics 4 and collects:
The statistics do not collect your name or e-mail address, and nothing from the game beyond the events listed above. Google does not store the IP address.
The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent the Google script is not loaded. You can withdraw consent at any time in the game menu (“Statistics and cookies…”) – the game then deletes the _ga cookies. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The form sends the type and text of the message, your e-mail address (only if you give it), the game version, the signal box of the current shift, the language, the screen address and a description of the browser. With a bug report you can attach a save of the current shift: the timetable number and the commands given on the panel – with no data about you.
The message goes to the game’s database on a server in the European Union, and only the game’s administrator reads it. The server keeps the IP address only in memory, to limit the number of messages – it does not save it in the database. The legal basis is legitimate interest: replying and fixing the game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete a message when it is no longer needed, and at once at your request.
The game site, the account server and the database are run by a hosting company; the account server and the database are in the European Union. Like any server, they see the IP address and the request data needed to deliver the page, and may keep them briefly in logs. Hosting and e-mail delivery are provided by companies based in the USA that process data only on our instructions (Art. 28 GDPR); transfers to the USA rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). We will name these companies on request. The game’s fonts and scripts are on the same server. Apart from Google Analytics (with consent), the site loads nothing from other companies’ servers.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw consent at any time – this does not affect what happened before the withdrawal. You can lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
The game has no ads. An account is optional – you can play without giving any data. We do not sell data and do not build player profiles.
When what the game collects changes, we will update this text and the date at the top. When the scope of the statistics changes, the banner will ask for consent again.
