Junction of the lines from Kraków to Żywiec and to Chabówka in the Beskid Makowski: to the west two single-track open lines to the post Sucha Beskidzka Zamek, linked by crossovers before the level crossing, to the east the open line to Lachowice. Seven main tracks – the short track 12 at platform I ends at a buffer stop and takes trains from Żywiec only. All trains to Zakopane used to reverse here; today a connecting line bypasses the station.
Regional trains from Kraków, Chabówka and Żywiec terminating here and returning, TLK Katowice – Zakopane through Żywiec and Sucha without reversing, freight trains of line 97 passing through.
