A fairly large junction station where the line from Szczecinek to Kołobrzeg crosses the line from Gdańsk to Szczecin (once double-track). Seven main tracks, five of them at platforms – two island platforms and a side platform by the station building; a locomotive depot with a fan-shaped roundhouse of 20 stalls (today a base of the track maintenance service), stabling sidings along the curve towards Kołobrzeg, ramps and loading yards. Four single-track open lines, two relay signal boxes, barriers of three level crossings.
Polregio trains Słupsk – Szczecin and Koszalin – Świdwin at platform II, regional trains to Szczecinek and Kołobrzeg at platform III, IC Gdańsk – Szczecin and Ustka – Kraków via Szczecinek stopping here, freight trains from Stargard to Koszalin and from Szczecinek to Kołobrzeg without stopping – four single-track open lines.
